Terms of Use
Me2Me: Mood Tracker & Journal · Last updated: November 3, 2026
The short version
- Me2Me is a mood journal with supportive phrases. It is not medical or psychological care.
- The basic journal is free. Premium is an auto-renewable subscription that you can cancel at any time in your App Store or Google Play settings.
- Your entries belong to you and stay on your device, so please keep your phone's backups turned on if you don't want to lose them.
1. About these Terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to the Me2Me: Mood Tracker & Journal app (the “App”), made by IMAR (Irina Marinenko), an independent developer based in Kazakhstan (“I”, “me”, “my”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
If you got the App from the Apple App Store, your use of it is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Apple Standard EULA”). These Terms add details specific to Me2Me. If there is a conflict between the two, the Apple Standard EULA applies to the extent of the conflict.
How the App handles information is described in the Privacy Policy.
2. Not medical advice
Me2Me helps you notice and record your moods and offers kind, supportive phrases. It is not a medical, psychological or therapeutic service. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.
If you are in crisis or might hurt yourself or someone else, please contact your local emergency number right away. In the US and Canada, you can call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
3. Who can use the App
The App is intended for people aged 16 and over. If you are under the age of majority in your country, please use the App with the permission of a parent or guardian.
4. Your license to use the App
I grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, in line with these Terms and the rules of the store you got it from.
You agree not to copy, modify, resell or redistribute the App or its content, not to reverse engineer it except where the law allows this, and not to use it for any unlawful purpose.
5. Your entries
Everything you write or add in the App (check-ins, notes, photos and favorite moments) belongs to you. It is stored only on your device. I do not have a copy and cannot restore it for you.
To avoid losing your entries, keep your phone's system backup turned on (iCloud Backup on iPhone, Google backup on Android) or export your entries from time to time. Using Delete All Data or deleting the App permanently removes your entries from the device. Reinstalling the App does not bring them back.
6. Me2Me Premium subscriptions
The core journal is free. Me2Me Premium unlocks extra features, such as the mood chart, photos in entries, Joy Box, cat mood icons and extra color accents. The current list of Premium features is shown in the App before you subscribe.
Plans and prices
Premium is offered as an auto-renewable subscription with a monthly or yearly period. The price of each plan is shown in the App before you buy, in your local currency, and may vary by country. Prices may include taxes depending on where you live.
Free trial
The yearly plan may include a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the yearly subscription starts automatically and you will be charged the yearly price. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Payment and renewal
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account (or your Google Play account) when you confirm the purchase, or when the free trial ends.
- Your subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- If the price of your subscription changes, Apple or Google will notify you in advance and, where required, ask for your consent.
Managing and canceling
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your account settings:
- iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Me2Me.
- Android: Google Play → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Me2Me.
If you cancel, you keep Premium until the end of the period you have already paid for. Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.
Refunds
All payments are processed by Apple or Google, so refunds are handled by them under their own policies. For App Store purchases, you can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. For Google Play purchases, see Google Play's refund help. Nothing in these Terms limits any refund rights you have under the law of your country.
Restoring purchases
If you reinstall the App or move to a new device, you can restore your subscription in the App: tap any Premium feature (for example, the mood chart in History) to open the Premium screen, then tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account.
7. Content and intellectual property
The App and everything in it, apart from your own entries, including the supportive phrases, the cat character, illustrations, design, name and code, belong to me or my licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Phrases you share as pictures through the App's share feature may be shared for personal, non-commercial purposes.
8. Changes to the App
I work to keep improving Me2Me. I may add, change or remove features, release updates, or, in rare cases, stop offering the App. Some updates may be needed to keep using the App. If a change significantly reduces what Premium includes during your subscription, you can cancel as described in section 6.
9. Disclaimer
I make the App with care, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, I do not promise that the App will always be available, error-free, or meet all your needs, and I make no warranties beyond those that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the App. My total liability to you for any claim related to the App is limited to the amount you paid for the App or Premium in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, or affects your rights as a consumer under the mandatory laws of your country.
11. Ending these Terms
You can stop using the App at any time by deleting it (and canceling any subscription). Your license ends automatically if you break these Terms.
12. Apple App Store
If you got the App from the Apple App Store, you and I acknowledge that:
- these Terms are between you and me only, not with Apple, and I, not Apple, am solely responsible for the App and its content;
- Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the App;
- if the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation regarding the App;
- Apple is not responsible for any claims by you or any third party relating to the App, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection or privacy claims;
- Apple is not responsible for investigating, defending or settling any claim that the App infringes a third party's intellectual property rights;
- you confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties;
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan. If you live in another country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country, and you may bring a claim in your local courts where the law allows.
If you have a problem with the App, please write to me first. Most issues can be solved quickly by email.
14. Changes to these Terms
I may update these Terms from time to time. The new version will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. If the changes are significant, I will let you know where appropriate, in the App or in its release notes. If you keep using the App after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
