Frequently asked questions
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Me2Me and tap Cancel Subscription.
Please cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period to avoid being charged for the next one. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
How do I restore my purchase on a new iPhone?
Sign in with the same Apple ID you used to subscribe and open Me2Me. Tap any Premium feature (for example, the mood chart in History) to open the Premium screen, then tap Restore Purchases.
How do I get a refund?
All payments are handled by Apple, so refunds are decided by Apple too. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Will I lose my entries if I change my phone?
Your entries are stored only on your device. If iCloud Backup is turned on in your iPhone settings, they are included in that backup, and restoring the backup to a new iPhone brings them back.
You can also export your entries to a PDF or text file at any time.
What happens if I delete the app?
Deleting the app also deletes your entries, and reinstalling it does not bring them back. iCloud Backup saves a copy of your whole iPhone, not of a single app, so it can't return the entries of a deleted app.
If you just need to free up space, use Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Me2Me → Offload App instead. It removes the app but keeps your entries, and they will be there when you reinstall it.
How do I delete all my data?
In Me2Me, open Settings and tap Delete All Data. This permanently erases all your entries and photos. Deleting the app also removes everything stored by it.
I don't get reminders. What should I check?
On your iPhone, open Settings → Notifications → Me2Me and make sure notifications are allowed. Then check your reminder times in the Me2Me settings. Focus modes can also hide notifications.
Is Me2Me a replacement for therapy?
No. Me2Me is a journal with kind words, not medical or psychological care. If you are struggling, please reach out to a professional you trust.
